Kendra’s passion for sea turtles is contagious, and so is her heart for educating the community. Whether she was breaking down what all those colorful beach markers actually mean or sharing hilarious stories (including ours!) about mistaken turtle eggs and stinky shells, we left inspired and more aware of how to care for Vero’s coastline.

Coastal Connections isn’t just protecting endangered sea turtles; they’re inviting the whole community into the story, with hands-on experiences like nighttime turtle walks, turtle digs, and even beach baskets that make cleanups easy for everyone. This nonprofit is making waves in all the best ways, and we’re so glad we finally made the connection!
